How do I get my WhatsApp link?

Use wa.me/ plus your number in international format, no plus sign, no spaces — e.g. wa.me/15551234567. You can also add ?text=Hello to prefill a message.

Can I prefill a message?

Yes — append ?text=Your%20message to the wa.me link. When someone scans, the chat opens with your text ready to send.

Do I need WhatsApp Business?

No. A personal number works the same way. WhatsApp Business adds catalogs and auto-replies, but the QR code works with either.

Does it expire?

No. Static codes never expire and need no account.
