These terms cover your use of FreeQrly. They are short on purpose: the service is a free tool, and the rules are mostly common sense.
FreeQrly is a free QR code generator. Static codes need no account and are drawn entirely in your browser. Dynamic codes — editable destinations plus scan statistics — are an optional feature that requires an account.
You may not use FreeQrly for:
We may suspend accounts and take down codes that violate these terms. If we take down a code, scans of it stop working — that is the one exception to the promise in the next section.
Static codes carry their destination inside the pattern — nothing we do can turn them off, and they keep working forever. Dynamic codes keep working even if you cancel a future paid plan, should one ever exist. The only codes we remove are ones that violate these terms.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe. We may delete unverified accounts after 30 days — accounts where the email address was never confirmed.
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Updated terms will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
