Privacy Policy

FreeQrly is built around a simple idea: the static QR generator runs entirely in your browser, and we collect as little as possible. This page says plainly what we do collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

What we do not collect: the content of static QR codes. Static codes are drawn entirely in your browser — the text, links, WiFi passwords, and contact details you type never leave your device.

Why we collect it

Account email exists so you can sign in and manage your dynamic codes. IP addresses exist to keep the service working for everyone. Scan statistics exist because that is the point of a dynamic code — you asked to know how often it gets scanned.

How long we keep it

Where data is stored

Data is stored in Cloudflare D1, on currently US-based infrastructure. That may change as the service grows; if it does, we will update this page.

Cookies

One strictly-necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. That is all. No tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics that follow you around the web.

Your rights

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your Dashboard. Deleting your account releases your codes — they keep working, but can no longer be edited — and removes your account data. If you need anything else, reach us through the contact link in the footer.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version here with a new date. Substantial changes will be noted on the homepage as well.
