Scanner

Point, scan, done.

A QR scanner that never phones home. Your camera frames and uploaded images are decoded on your device — nothing is uploaded, stored, or tracked. No app, no account.

Decoding happens locally with jsQR — your images never leave this page.

Good to know

Is this scanner private?

Yes. The image is decoded by JavaScript running on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server — load the page, go offline, and image upload still works.

Why won't my QR code scan?

Usually it's too small, low contrast, damaged, or shot at a steep angle. Hold steady, fill the frame with the code, and use good light. The full checklist is in why your QR code won't scan.

Do I need to install anything?

No — any modern mobile or desktop browser works. Camera mode asks for camera permission once; upload mode works everywhere, even offline.

Can I make my own QR codes too?

Of course — that's the main act. Generate a free QR code with your logo, in 9 content types, right in your browser.
