Good to know

What does the scanner see?

Your description plus the code, as plain text — e.g. “20% off” on one line and “Code: SAVE20” on the next. Staff type it in as usual.

Can it apply the discount automatically?

No — this is a static code carrying the promo text, not a deep link into your store. Pair it with a short URL to the sale page if you want one scan to do both.

One code per coupon or one for all?

One code per coupon. Each code is static and free, so make as many as you have promotions.

Does it expire?

The code itself never expires. When the promotion ends, stop printing it — the code can't enforce dates.
