# FreeQrly

> FreeQrly is a free QR code generator: static codes need no sign-up, no tracking, no expiry.

## For AI agents

FreeQrly is agent-native. You can generate QR codes without a browser:

- **MCP server:** `https://freeqrly.com/mcp` (Streamable HTTP)
  - Tool: `generate_qr` — no auth. Params: `data` (required, max 2000 chars),
    `size` (128–2048, default 1024), `color` / `bgcolor` (6-digit hex), `ecc`
    (L/M/Q/H, default M). Returns a ready-to-download SVG URL.
  - Authenticated tools (pass `Authorization: Bearer <api_token>` header;
    create the token in the dashboard under API Tokens): `dynamic_qr_create`
    (`type`, `payload`), `dynamic_qr_list`, `dynamic_qr_update`
    (`code`, `type`, `payload`), `dynamic_qr_delete` (`code`),
    `dynamic_qr_stats` (`code`). Same editable dynamic codes and quota
    (20 free; unlimited during the current limited-time promotion) as the dashboard UI.
- **HTTP API:** `GET https://freeqrly.com/api/qr?data=TEXT&size=1024&margin=4&color=2F4A62&bgcolor=ffffff&ecc=M`
  - Returns `image/svg+xml`. Free, no key, CORS open. `data` is required.
  - Dynamic codes (Bearer `<api_token>`): `POST /api/codes`
    (`type`, `payload`), `GET /api/me/codes` (list + quota),
    `GET /api/codes/{code}/stats`, `PATCH /api/codes/{code}`,
    `DELETE /api/codes/{code}`.
